Searching for Beauty in the Every Day
Although the subject matter of these images is different, they are all monochromatic. In some cases, the images were taken with the plan to make them monochromatic such as the skulls and crosses, but others are experimental where I try a monochrome treatment after the fact. This was the case with the leaves in the sunlight, it was the light coming through the green leaves that attracted my eye but when I was editing it I found the light was far more dramatic in black and white.
