This outing is cancelled, due to the fact only one person RSVP’d to the outing. 

The sunrise is 6:50AM and the weather forecast is mainly cloudy with showers in the afternoon and the tides are reasonable and incoming. 

For the best effect and colour, photographers should be set up on the beach no later than 6AM.

The group will meet at Chapters parking lot at Woodgrove at 5:30AM for car pooling, and proceed to the Brick Yard Community Park from there. 

Location: Brickyard Community Park – 3828 Amberwood Ln, Nanoose Bay, BC

It is advisable that you bring the following information: 

• Camera with a manual setting 
• Tripod 
• Wide angle lens – A medium telephoto would be useful also 
• ND Filters (for longer exposures) 
• Hot beverages 
• Warm clothes – Hat, gloves etc 
• Good footwear – The rocks can be slippery 
• Head lamp – it will be dark as you set up
