Our second outing for June is to Petroglyph Park in the south end of Nanaimo. 

This is a local park that has sandstone carvings made by our First Nations peoples over 1000 years ago and nature trails with the opportunity to photograph nature venues as well as the petroglyphs. 

This will be a shady walk so if you want to get the best results when doing any close up or macro photography a tripod is recommended.
