RSVP is required. 

A favourite is the walk-about at Morden Mine Provincial Park. It is exciting to see that the reconstruction is now complete and there is more signage than before to explain the significance of the park. As well, the “viewing” area allows for a closer look than before at the tipple as the fencing area has been moved. The structure certainly lends itself to a study of industrial architecture.

Date: Saturday, February 24 (Sunday as a backup due to weather)

Time: 10:00AM (Meet in the parking lot) 

Level of Difficulty: Moderate – the trails around the main site are flat and easy to walk

Equipment Suggestions: Waterproof walking gear, & a tripod (winter light in a forest is low)
