Scarecrow Spectacular at Milner Gardens is a daytime celebration of fall in the gardens, where you can photograph the fall colours throughout the gardens or stroll along Scarecrow Lain to admire and vote for your favourite spooktacular scarecrow creation. Visitors are encouraged to dress up in family-friendly costumes. 

The gardens Scarecrow Spectacular will be open from October 25 – 27, 2024 from 11:00AM – 3:00PM, but the outing date is Saturday, October 26th at 11:00AM. We will meet in the parking lot at 10:45 and proceed from there. 

Bring your tripod this could be a perfect opportunity to practice macro-photography. 

Admission fee: $10/Adult and $6.00 for children 12 & under and current VIU students. There will be a 10% discount for groups of 10 people. 

A menu of harvest-themed food and beverage offering will be available at the outdoor food service station near Milner House. 

The gardens are wheelchair, stroller and walker accessible. Shuttle cart service will also be available. 

The Camellia Tea Room and Milner House will be closed due the the increased traffic during this event. 

Beautiful fall-themed gifts and decor are available for purchase in the Pool House Gift Shop.
