Date Change – The date for this outing has been changed to July 27. 

The historic forestry camp building will be open during the site’s open hours (10AM – 4PM) 7 days per week over the summer. Our club will meet at the gates to the park at 10:00AM. The trip from Nanaimo to the park is about 1 1/2 hours and carpooling is recommended. A GPS comes in handy for this venture. If you wish to carpool either by sharing your ride or getting a ride please indicate on the RSVP form or contact Rooney at [email protected]. 

We will have access to the building so we will be able to take those interior shots that people wanted. 

Admission to the site will be $10 for adults (19-64) and $5 for students & seniors (under 19 and over 64), pay as you enter the site. 

There is food available on site but there is also a great picnic area if you would like to bring your own. 

If our group wishes to get access to the interior of the sawmill, a private tour may be booked but there would be an additional cost. If you are interested in a tour – let Rooney know and she will arrange it.
