On Saturday, April 12th, Irene will lead photography adventurers on an outing to Englishman River Falls in Errington. Meet up at 1:00PM at the main parking lot at 2245 Errington Rd. 

The park features 2 waterfalls, some river views, a lush forest, and the possibility for mushrooms. 

To see both falls, we take a 1.3km loop trail with some elevation gain (one steep downhill and a slightly less steep uphill). Trails are narrow in parts, with roots and rocks, and can be slippery. Good footwear is highly recommended. It’s expected that the trip will take 1.5 hours to allow everyone to take their time photographing. 

To see just the main waterfall, it is an easy walk from the parking lot to a bridge that provides a great view of the falls. And this is a possibility for anyone unable to do the longer trail. 

Recommend gear is a landscape lenses, a tripod for those who feel comfortable carrying one, and ND filters to shoot long exposures of the main falls.
