Do you like shooting unusual items, lots of texture, and trying different compositions? If so, this outing is for you, Demexx Deconstruction Yard is a building supply store with a twist, most of its inventory is reclaimed from all over the world, and it has everything from old bathtubs to old cars. This is a 10-acre yard with an impressive inventory including reclaimed windows, flooring, doors, powder coated gates, bathtubs, sinks, cabinets and more.

This will give you a chance to try different compositions as you walk through the site and check out the different items and vignettes from stacked pipes to tool walls.

It is a flat location so the walk is easy, although a tripod is not essential it may come in handy if it is a grey day and you are trying to photograph is some of the building and darker area. A wide angle or zoom lens would probably work the best but it is up to you.  

For those interested we are planning on going for lunch after the outing before we head home. Location for lunch to be determined.
