
Nanaimo Museum – Heritage Art Show – Shack Island
July 1 - August 31

This year’s Heritage Art Show’s topic is Shack Island. This is the island off Piper’s Lagoon Park with the colour collections of buildings.
Concept: This art show aims to challenge the Artist to create an original work of art based on Shack Island. The objective is to make your work unique.
If you are interested in contributing to this exhibition please contact Jordan Johns at jordan@nanaimomuseum.ca by or before June 27th. There is only room for 30 images and is open to all artists in Nanaimo, so sign up early if you are interested.
This exhibition is ideal for photography, digital art, painting, drawing, pin and ink mediums.
Artwork must be:
- Size requirements: 18×12 overall dimensions
- One submission per artist
- Full colour.
- No collage or mixed media
- It is preferred if artwork is in frames, on canvas, or mounted to foam-core and must be ready to hang with the appropriate hardware.
The exhibit will be on display at the Nanaimo Museum from July 1st to August 31st.
