Life Captured is a presentation of photographs by club members that is shown on Shaw TV and on YouTube every two months. 

To have your photographs added to the September – October show you have to send them to Lynda Stevens no later than October 21, but sooner would be appreciated.

Email photographs to [email protected] or WeTransfer them to Lynda. 

Details: 
Photographs can be in landscape or portrait orientation and can be coloured or monochrome. 

Photographs can be on any subject but images of recognisable people will required a signed model release form. 

There is no restriction on when the photographs were taken or it is was used in previous shows. 

You may submit up to 6 photographs, those not used in the current show will be saved for future shows. 

Photographs must be the original work of the person submitting them. 

Please name your photographs with your name first followed by the title of the photograph, example: John Dow – Nature.  If you do not want your name used please mention this in  your email.  Please do not  place your name or watermark on the photograph for uniformity of the presentation, it will be added to the slideshow. 

Photographs must be in .jpeg or .jpg format and should not exceed 2.0mb. 

Sizing Photographs: 

The slideshow will be shown on Shaw TV so it is important that, if possible, they fit and fill a TV screen which is 16/9 format. This format does work best with a landscape image which is cropped to the 16/9 (widescreen) format. If a 16/9 crop does not work for your image then follow the instructions below: 

If the image is wider than it is tall, size it to 1920 pixels on the long side. If the image is taller than it is wide, size it 1080 pixels on the tall side. The perfect size for a horizontal image is 1920 X 1080 which will fill the screen and give a nice wide screen view. A portrait image will not fill the screen so size it to 1080 on the tall side.
