Humanist street photographer Monique Campbell builds on her first talk Building Confidence to Shoot Street with her new presentation Faces in the Street, Candid and Camera Aware People Photography. 

She encourages photographer to get past their fear of making images of people they encounter on the streets. Through her images and stories abut her experiences photographing random strangers she shares her passion with others. 

Monique shows over 75 images in 60 minute presentation including some of her in action as she demonstrates her process as well as sharing both candid and camera aware portraits side-by-side of her subjects. 

She discusses three key concepts … Approach, Storytelling and having a Third Element to keep in mind when making images of people. 

Her 10 page handout is a great takeaway of information from her presentation that photographers can refer to as they in turn, go out to make images of their own. She offers numerous resources that can be accessed and explored for further education.
