All submissions for the first CAPA competition of the year, Pacific Zone,  are due to the External Competitions Chair by September 24th. 

This is an open theme with an emphasis of “highlighting life in British Columbia and in the Yukon”.  As an open theme – animals, birds, insects, landscape, nature, people and wildlife are permitted as well as creative composite images. 

For this competition, we are seeking your best image(s). 

As a club we are permitted to submit 6 images for this competition so all images submitted by the members will be adjudicated and the 6 best images will be submitted. 

Submit your image to [email protected] by September 29 to be considered for this competition. 

All images must be in the .jpg or .jpeg format and as sized as follows: 

Landscape orientation – 1400 pixels wide

Portrait orientation – 1050 pixels tall 

Square orientation – 1050 pixels on all sides

The maximum file size for the images is 1.8 MB, the system that CAPA uses will not accept larger files. 

Note: Resizing your images is not cropping it, it is making the full images smaller. All editing programs have a resizing function, if you are unsure of how to do it in the program you are using check the help functionality for that program.
