The BC/Yukon Group is planning  the 1st Annual Celebration of BC Photography Show for May 29th, at 7:00 PM. 

Our club will have 8 minutes to present a slideshow as part of this celebration and we will have a these of “Photography in Nanaimo”. 

We would request 2 – 3 images, taken in and around Nanaimo from any member that would like to participate. This a celebration of our club and members not a competition. 

We are also looking for images of club members at outings or at meetings so we can begin the presentation with an overview of our club and activities. 

Images are to sent to Sue Nurmi at sue_nurmi@me.com by May 10th (sooner if possible) and be be formatted as listed below: 

• File name should contain the photographer’s name, the title of the images and the location it was taken at – i.e.: John Smith – Great Blue Heron – Piper’s Lagoon.
• Photograph must be in the JPEG or JPG format 
• File Size: 
  • Landscape – no larger than 1920 pixels wide, 
  • Portrait or Square – no larger than 1080 pixels tall. 

Note: File size and cropped dimensions are not the same, if you are unsure of how to resize your images send the in full resolution and they will be resized for you. We want images to celebrate our club, our members and our community and don’t want to worry about rules!
