The BC – Yukon Inter-club Speakers Series and North Shore Photographic Society are please to present the first speaker of the series, with Through the Lens of Love with John Barclay. 

Realizing that photography is a creative art form, John is constantly exploring new ways to connect with is subject. Over the last few years, he’s been learning to fall in love with rather than just photograph what he’s drawn to. Love? Really? What’s love have to with it? That is what this presentation will disclose. How does the love of his subjects influence his photography? It boils down to this – John photographs what makes his heart sing! In this presentation, John Barclay will share stories and thoughts from a 20-year journey to where he now looks through the lens with love.

John is a passionate photographer and enthusiastic workshop leader. He is also an inspirational speaker, presenting his programs to audiences around the world.
