The Nanaimo Orchid Show has invited our club to participate in their annual Orchid Show. 

No. Not to grow. But photograph – 

And SHOW. 

Our members are invited to enter photographs for judging and then those photo would become part of the display for public viewing; February 28th through to March 2nd. 

The categories for judging are: 

• Black & White – any size matted 
• Colour Prints – up to 5 X 7 matted 
• Colour Prints – over 5 X 7 matted 
• Enhanced Photograph – hand touched or digitally altered – any size matted 

For many years, club members have attended the show on early Saturday prior to the public. We enjoyed the luxury of photographing the beautiful flowers in lively displays. This will be the case again, this year. 

However, those that wish to submit photographs for the competition and exhibition, may participate in that too. Depending of the number of club photographers, we may become part of their displays or use our display racks in numbers warrant it. 

Images are to be delivered to Rooney by February 28th.
