I have been taking pictures (on and off) for most of my adult life, starting with an Olympus OM-1 in 1979. I joined my first photography club as a founding member of the Harbour City Photography Club in the early 1990’s, have been president of the Ladysmith Camera Club, and have now returned to the HCPC.
I don’t concentrate on any one particular area of photography. My wife and I like to hike and travel, so many of my best images come when when doing one of those activities. Some also come right off my back deck!
“Focus on Montreal”
We regularly visit Montreal (my wife’s home town) and it is one of my favourite subjects. I have had the opportunity to do two night photography workshops in Montreal with professional photographer Marko Kulik, and some of the images shown here come from those sessions.
